Investindustrial revs up Ducati delisting
It is understood that Investindustrial is preparing to delist Ducati, of which it acquired a 29% stake in late 2005. The deal is intended to tap into current drops in the value of shares. Gabriele del Torchio, who leads the motorbike company, has presented a new strategy extending to 2010 projecting profits growth of up to EUR500m and a 20% EBITDA.
Meanwhile, the Commissione Nazionale per le Societa et la Borsa (Consob) authorised the go ahead of the voluntary tender offer by Investindustrial-backed Polimeri Speciali for Polynt. The tender will extend until 22 April 2008.
