Bridgepoint appoints Stephen Green

Private equity firm Bridgepoint has appointed Stephen Green as partner and head of its European financial services sector team.

Green retired from Apax in March 2008. He initially joined in 1997, becoming a partner in 2000 when he was appointed head of its global financial and business services team. In 2003, he was also named a member of Apax's Approval Committee. Prior to this he worked in the MBO advisory division of PricewaterhouseCoopers.

Green will begin his new position in September and succeeds John Davison who is leaving Bridgepoint to pursue other interests after six years with the firm.
