Aurica XXI backs Eurofragrance SL
Aurica XXI, Banco Sabadell's private equity investment entity, has committed an undisclosed amount of capital to fund the expansion of perfumery business Eurofragrance.
Aurica XXI, advised by BS Capital, took a 25% stake in the family-owned business via a share increase operation. The capital will be used to fund an ambitious growth plan, possibly including acquisitions.
Eurofragrance, which is based in Rubí, to the northwest of Barcelona, specialises in the design and production of fragrances for use in the perfumery industry, as well as in the food and beauty products segments. The company recorded sales of €22m in 2009 and is forecasting a €30m turnover for this year, 80% of which will come from exports; it employs 112 staff.
