Magenta sells only firm
Liquidated private equity firm Magenta has sold its only portfolio company, Compagnia Italia Forme Acciao (CIFA), to a consortium led by Chinese heavy machinery firm Zoomlion and comprising Goldman Sachs Private Equity, Mandarin Capital Partners and Hony Capital.
The deal was valued at EUR375m (EV) consisting of EUR252.5m equity and EUR124m debt with a EUR19.5m transaction cost. The process, which began in June this year, was led by Fineurope Soditic.
