Edmond de Rothschild invests in Fila
Edmond de Rothschild Investment Partners has made its first investment in Italy by acquiring a stake in Fabbrica Italiana Lapise e Affini (Fila).
In conjunction with banking group Intesa Saopaolo, the private equity firm now holds a 25% stake in the company, having also invested alongside the Candela family.
The investors plan to implement a consolidation strategy, with a view to listing the business on the stock exchange within three to four years.
