
JC Flowers debuts in Italy
JC Flowers has debuted in Italy with the acquisition, alongside Mid Industry Capital, of financial player Euromobiliare SIM in a deal valued at EUR140m. It was the first time in Italy that a financial institution has received private equity backing.
Following the deal, JC Flowers will retain 50.1% of the company; Mid Industry 9.9% and the remaining 40% will be held by the management team. (Page 37).
