Permira names new partner
UK-based buyout house Permira has promoted Roberto Biondi to partner.
Biondi joined Permira in 2001 and has worked on numerous transactions in Italy and overseas including Sisal, Seat PG, Marazzi, and Just Retirement. He is part of the financial services team.
Prior joining Permira he worked for McKinsey&Co during three years which he spend in the firm's Milan and Tel Aviv offices.
Permira has also appointed Silvano Delnegro who will join the Italian team following a career trajectory in restaurant business Autogrill (in Spain and Italy) and the Boston Consulting Group. Delnegro will focus on improving the operating performance of the group's portfolio.
