Permira and Mercapital looking to buy ACS division
Permira and Mercapital are said to be in negotiations with ACS about the sale of its service division Clece.
The sale price is expected to be around €600m according to reports. ACS is looking to sell assets in order to pay down its debt and continue its expansion strategy.
Madrid-based Clece was founded in 1992 and provides cleaning services, maintenance and logistics, social services, airport, environmental, social catering and special employment centers. The company had a turnover of €1.1bn in 2010, an EBITDA of €80m and employs about 45,000 people.
