HIG increases stake in VSA
HIG Europe has increased its stake in Spanish audiovisual group Vértice 360 Servicios Audiovisuales (VSA) to 50.01%, exercising a call option following the purchase of a 49.99% stake in 2012.
The GP bought its original stake in October last year via a €16m capital increase. The firm's parent company, Vértice 360 retained the remaining share balance.
The deal was the first completed by HIG Europe from its Madrid office since it opened in February 2012. Jaime Bergel was appointed managing director of Spanish operations at the time.
VSA is the audiovisual services division of Vértice 360, a Spanish audiovisual group that listed on the Spanish Stock Exchange in 2007. VSA supplies clients with the equipment and teams needed to manage and execute audiovisual production at events, for advertising and for broadcasting.
