Dpixel opens up shop

Italy has seen a new player embark on the venture capital scene. Dpixel specialises in investments in the fields of digital media and high-tech, particularly seed and early-stage development projects. Investment will focus on Italian initiatives with a global outlook and internationalisation possibilities. Particular emphasis will be given to opportunities in emerging markets.

Dpixel is led by Gianluca Dettori, adviser and manager of Dseed, an evergreen investment fund specialising in seeding and early-stage investments. Other founding partners include Massimo Martini, Franco Gonnella and Antonio Concolino.
