Palamon and G Square-backed Sar buys Mapfre Quavitae
A portfolio company of Palamon Capital Partners and G Square has purchased care home provider Mapfre Quavitae from Mapfre and Caja Madrid for €30m.
Grupo Sar, which will now manage the company, plans to rent residential homes from Mapfre and Caja Madrid over a period of 30 years, as many of the firm's buildings remain in the hands of the vendors.
Quavitae reported a turnover of €139m in 2009.
