
Atomico leads $42m series-B for JobAndTalent
US-based venture capital firm Atomico has led a €42m series-B round for Spanish recruitment mobile application JobAndTalent.
As part of the deal, Niall Wass, the former senior vice-chair of Uber and Atomico's executive-in-residence, will join the company's management board as non-executive director.
The funding round saw additional investors participating, including Workday vice-chair Adeyemi Ajao, Bright.com founder Steve Goodman and Fabrice Grinda, the founder of OLX.com.
Following the transaction, the company is keen on using the fresh capital to expand geographically as well as bolster its presence in existing markets and expand its engineering team.
Previous funding
In July 2013, Kibo Venture led a €2.5m round for the company alongside existing investors and business angels.
Subsequently, the business raised a €10.25m series-A round from Qualitas Equity Partners and Kibo in July 2014.
In May 2015, existing investors Qualitas and Kibo provided an additional €25m funding round to the company.

Established in 2009, JobAndTalent develops a mobile application that focuses on recruitment and candidate sourcing processes for SMEs.
The company is headquartered in Madrid and is also present in Barcelona, Mexico City and Bogota. More recently, the business expanded into the London market.
