
Deporvillage raises €3.5m round from P101 et al.
Spanish online marketplace Deporvillage has raised a €3.5m funding round from P101, Mediaset, Samaipata Ventures, Cabiedes & Partners and the management team.
As part of the deal, P101 injected a €800,000 equity ticket and will retain a 10% stake in the business.
According to a statement, the company aims to use the fresh capital to expand in Italy as well as across the southern European market.
Previous funding
According to unquote" data, the company raised a €350,000 seed round from Cabiedes alongside individual investors in July 2011.
In July 2015, the company raised a €2.5m funding round from Samaipata, Cabiedes, Mediaset (via its corporate venture fund Ad4Ventures) and P101, which injected a €500,000 equity ticket.

Founded in 2010, Deporvillage manages an online marketplace focused on sports products. The company is headquartered in Manresa and has a presence across Spain, France, Portugal and Italy. It currently employs a staff of 50.
The company posted a turnover of €10m in 2015, marking a 54% increase compared to the €6.5m of revenues generated in 2014. According to a statement, the business expects to post a turnover of €25m in 2016.
