
Wooptix raises €3m round from Bullnet Capital et al.
Spanish image developer Wooptix has raised a €3m funding round from a syndicate of venture capital investors.
According to a statement, Spanish venture capital house Bullnet Capital and US-based Intel Capital led the €3m funding round alongside Caixa Capital Risc.
As part of the deal, Intel Capital director Erik Jorgensen and Bullnet partner Javier Ulecia will join the company's management board.
The company aims to use the fresh capital to boost the further development of its flagship product, Natural3D, with particular regard to image processing via a mobile application, as well as launch the commercialisation of the product.

Wooptix span out from University La Laguna in Tenerife in 2014. Headquartered in San Cristóbal de La Laguna, the company develops a software designed to capture 3D pictures with both smartphones and professional cameras.
