
Innogest, Panakès lead €4.2m series-A for Seventeen
Italian venture capital firms Innogest and Panakès Partners have led a €4.2m series-A round for Naples-based biotech startup Seventeen.
As part of the deal, the GPs will add several representatives from the Italian oncology sector to the company's board, including Massimo Romanelli, former oncology division manager at AngioDynamics; Lucio Fumi, former director at Interventional Oncology BTG; and Gentium co-founder and former CEO Laura Iris Ferro.
The company aims to use the fresh capital to boost its product's development phase as well as to reach its clinical validation.
