Nauta Capital leads €1.4m funding round for Nextail
Barcelona-based venture capital house Nauta Capital has led a €1.4m funding round for Spanish mobile app developer Nextail alongside existing investor Realiza Business Angels.
As part of the deal, Nauta provided a €1.3m equity ticket to the round, while Realiza injected the remaining €100,000.
The company aims to use the capital injection to double its team, bolster its client base and expand to the UK next year.

Founded in 2014 and headquartered in Madrid, Nextail develops a mobile app based on an algorithm for image recognition, which helps retailers optimise inventory levels.
The business focuses mainly on the fashion and apparel retail sectors across Spain, Italy, France and Russia. It employs a staff of 35.
