
Diana Capital buys minority stake in Lappí
Spanish private equity firm Diana Capital has acquired a 46% stake in Grupo Lappí, a Spanish label producer, as part of a capital increase.
As part of the deal, the company's chairperson and sole investor prior to the transaction, Antonio Lappí Perea, will retain a controlling stake in the business.
The company aims to triple revenues within the next four years, and will seek to acquire three rivals, two in Spain and one in Portugal, as reported by local publication Expansión.

Founded in 1959 and based in Seville, Lappí produces labels for the food, beverage and personal care sectors. The company has one production plant in Seville and two in Barcelona. It employs 153 people.
Its clients include Spanish firms such as Persan, Mahou, Borges, Damm and Font Vella, as well as international corporates Pernod Ricard, Coca-Cola, Havana Club, Henkel and Heinz.
According to local press reports, the business generated €20m in revenues in 2016 and exports 48% of its production across Europe, the Americas and Africa.
