
Idinvest leads $17m series-B for 21Buttons
Idinvest Partners has led a $17m series-B funding round for Barcelona-based social media fashion network 21Buttons.
Existing investors Kibo Ventures, Breega, JME Venture Capital, 360 Capital Partners, Sabadell Capital, and Samaipata Ventures also participated in the round.
The latest round brings total funding to $31m and will be used to accelerate expansion into the US market. The startup also plans to grow into additional European markets by the end of the year.
Previous funding
21Buttons raised a €3m seed round from Samaipata, Breega, Banco Sabadell, 360 Capital Partners, VentureCap, Spanish seed investor Sputnik and industrial investor Mediaset in February 2017.
A consortium of Spanish investors led a $10m series-A round for 21Buttons in October 2017. Spanish venture capital houses Kibo and JME led the funding round alongside existing investors Samaipata, Breega, 360 Capital, Sabadell, Sputnik and Mediaset.
