
Prime Ventures et al. in €66m series-B for Pagantis
Prime Ventures, Rinkelberg Capital and SPF Investment Management have invested €66m in a series-B funding round for Spanish fintech startup Pagantis.
The investment is composed of around €27m in equity and €39m in debt financing.
The company plans to use the fresh capital to further expand internationally, especially in Italy, France and Portugal, and scale up its team.

Prime Ventures led a €11.2m series-A funding round for Pagantis in October 2014.

Founded in 2011 and based in Barcelona with an office in Milan, Pagantis is a fintech startup that specialises in providing financing for e-commerce transactions. The company's algorithm uses big data and machine learning to analyse fraud and credit risk, while its platform, Paga+Tarde, allows consumers to pay for goods and services in monthly payments via an automated process. Pagantis employs 100 staff.
