Magenta Partners backs FastPayHotels
Magenta Partners has acquired a majority stake in Spain-based FastPayHotels (FPH), a marketplace for hotels and travel agencies.
The GP deployed capital from its Magenta Partners Fund II, which held a first close on £60m in August 2017 and invests equity tickets between £5-20m in small and medium-sized companies with high-growth potential.
Following the deal, Tom Matthews, partner at Magenta Partners, will join the company's board.

Founded in 2016 and headquartered in Palma De Mallorca, FPH provides a platform to connect hotels and travel agencies, and currently sells hotel rooms in 78 countries. The company generated EBITDA of €100,000 in 2018.
