Opera invests in Minotti
Opera has acquired kitchen producer Minotti Cucine for around €3.2m.
Previously, in June 2010 Opera signed an agreement to acquire the business unit of Minotti. The company had faced financial problems in the past which resulted in an administration process commencing in June 2011. Opera won the ensuing auction process and has taken a controlling stake in the company.
The private equity house plans to re-launch the business and support further growth.

Minotti Cucine was founded in 1949 and is a manufacturer of high-end kitchens. Based in Valpolicella, the firm is expectecd to generate a turnover of €7m in 2011.
