
Idinvest leads €6m round for Social Point
Idinvest has led a €6m series-B financing round for online games producer Social Point, alongside BBVA and Nauta Capital.
Nauta reinvested in the firm through the Nauta III vehicle, which closed on $150m in 2011.
The fresh capital will expand the firm's staff base, prepare the company for expansion into Asian markets and support the development of mobile games.

In June 2011, Nauta invested €2.4m in Social Point as part of a series-A round via its Nauta III fund.
Company
Founded in 2008 and based in Barcelona, Social Point produces social games that are monetised through the Facebook platform.
The company currently employs 70 people and plans to hire a further 40 by the end of the year. In 2011, the firm reported a €3.3m turnover, and expects to report sales of €13-14m this year.
