Gamesa backs N2S
Gamesa Venture Capital has acquired a 20% stake in Spanish energy services management firm N2S.
The investment, made through the venture capital fund of wind group Gamesa, is in line with the firm's investment focus on energy efficiency and green energy. The transaction will underpin the company's international expansion.
Gamesa Venture Capital holds commitments totalling €50m and has an investment period of five years and a lifespan of 10. It aims to invest between €3-5m per deal and reach a total annual investment of around €10m. Recent investments include the acquisition of 28.7% of SkyBuilt Power and 25% of Worldwater&Solar, both US-based off-grid solutions providers.

Founded in 2006 and headquartered in Madrid, N2S provides intelligent energy systems and has three tech solutions on the market: time energy management, electric vehicle charging and intelligent communications networks. The company has offices in several countries including the UK, France, Italy, Portugal, Spain and Brazil, and employs 35 members of staff.
