
Banesto exits Top 30
Banesto Enisa Sepi Desarrollo has sold its 22.6% stake in Spanish climbing wall producer Top 30 to UK-based climbing wall manufacturer Grupo Entre Prises.
Previous funding
In 2005, Banesto Enisa Sepi Desarrollo, the private equity group managed by Banesto and the Collosa group, completed its first investment, injecting €600,000 into Top 30 to fund the organic growth of the company and increase its staff numbers.
Company
Founded in 1992, Top 30 manufactures and installs climbing walls. The firm is based in Asturias and exports its products to more than 30 countries. Since its foundation, Top 30 has installed in excess of 5,000 climbing walls.
Since Banesto's investment, Top 30 has more than doubled its turnover and EBITDA. The company now employs 63 members of staff.
