
Fondo Italiano backs Angelantoni Test Technologies
Fondo Italiano di Investimento has made an €8m equity investment in exchange for a minority stake in Angelantoni Test Technologies, which provides testing equipment and services for use on mechanical and electrical systems and products.
The investment will underpin the company's growth, with a particular focus on both R&D and acquisitions in Italy and Europe. The investment is Fondo Italiano's 20th since its launch in 2010.
Company
Founded in 1932 and based in Perugia, Angelantoni Test Technologies is owned by the Angelantoni family. The firm operates and manufactures testing equipment for mechanical and electrical systems and products.
ATT currently employs around 400 members of staff and reported a €61m turnover in 2011, 90% of which was generated abroad. The company has research and production facilities in Italy, France and Germany and two further production units in China and India.
