Ade Gestion exits Jamones Burgaleses
Ade Gestion Sodical has exited processed meats producer Jamones Burgaleses, selling its 20% stake to Campofrio Food Group (CFG).
Caja de Ahorros de Salamanca y Soria has also sold its 40% stake in the company to CFG, which invested €5.7m to fund the acquisition and now owns 100% of the company. Details of investment returns remain undisclosed.
Previous funding
In 2003, Ade Gestion Sodical invested €1.3m in exchange for 20% of Jamones Burgaleses through its vehicle Ade Capital Sodical, which contains €59m in total commitments.
Company
Jamones Burgaleses manufactures prepared and processed meats including ham, sausages and salami. The company was founded in 1998 and is based in Burgos. Following the transaction, the firm will operate as a subsidiary of CFG.
