
Caixa backs Icinetic
Caixa Capital Risc, the venture capital arm of La Caixa, has led a €655,000 round for technology company Icinetic.
Business angels provided co-investment. Caixa invested via the digital technology fund Caixa Capital TIC.
The company will use the fresh capital to strengthen its marketing department and drive international expansion.

Founded in 2006 as a spin-off of the University of Seville, Icinetic is a technology company that has developed a tool called Radarc for the automatic production of professional software.
Radarc is designed to increase productivity in software development. It also aims to facilitate the learning of new software development techniques by guiding programmers through specific cases with reference architectures.
The tool launched in 2012 and counts more than 4,000 users and sales of in excess of €500,000. Clients include Microsoft, Endesa and Indra.
