Espiga Capital acquired a minority stake of 33% in marketing business Pool de Creaciones Publicitarias. The company’s founders will retain the remainder. The opportunity to invest originated via the existing relationship between Espiga and the company’s management. The holding period should be between five to seven years. It is anticipated that the GPs will provide extra capital to the business during that time. The business plan will see add-on acquisitions in a highly-fragmented advertising sector, domestically and abroad.

Madrid-based Pool de Creaciones Publicitarias employs 120 people in marketing and communication services for non-conventional means of publicity. It expects to close 2007 with a turnover just above €35m.
