Smadex raises €600,000 from Cabiedes et al.

Incubator 101 Startups, search engine Trovit and several business angels also contributed to the round.

The firm will use the funds to hire engineers to scale its technology and to expand in Europe and Latin America.

Founded in 2011 and based in Barcelona, Smadex is a mobile platform that allows advertisers and agencies to create and distribute rich media advertising on smartphones and tablets.

The firm has launched campaigns in Spain, Italy, the UK, Argentina, Mexico, Chile, Colombia and Guatemala.
