Caixa Capital Risc backs Xtraice with €800,000
Caixa Capital Risc has injected €800,000 into Xtraice, a manufacturer and distributor of ecological synthetic ice.
The investment was made through Caixa's latest fund, Caixa Innvierte Industria, which focuses on industrial technology companies and holds capital commitments totalling €23m. The fund backs firms headquartered in Spain operating in industrial technology, with plans for international expansion.
The capital injection will support Xtraice's plans for market consolidation and its growth strategy, which aims to quadruple sales figures in the next four years.
