Fondo Italiano backs Forgital Group
Fondo Italiano di Investimento has injected €30m into Forgital Group, an industrial components manufacturer and systems provider.
The GP acquired a minority stake in the firm. The fresh funding will support the accelerated development of the group, with particular attention given to the aerospace sector.
Company
Founded in 1873 and based in Vicenza, Forgital Group manufactures industrial components for the aerospace, oil and gas and power generation sectors. The firm also provides production process services to a range of sectors.
The group employs more than 1,000 staff distributed across 17 subsidiaries. Turnover stands at around €250m.
