CNPEF and Fondamenta sell 50% of Ares Line
Cape Natixis Private Equity Fund (CNPEF) and Fondamenta SGR have sold a 50% stake in Ares Line S.r.l. for approximately €5m equity.
The deal was completed in March, before CNPEF was put under special administration due to irregularities.
Previous funding
CNPEF acquired a stake in Ares Line in July 2006.
Company
Ares Line was established in 1987 and specialises in the production of chairs for office and auditorium use. The company is headquartered in Vicenza and employs approximately 80 people.
In 2010, the company generated a turnover of more than €14m and an EBITDA margin of approximately 16%.
