
Ambar Venture Capital backs TechnoActivity
Spanish venture capital investor Ambar Venture Capital has committed €2.4m to TechnoActivity, a mobile payments provider, according to reports in the Spanish press.
The backers intend to boost the company's mobile payments platform Mymoid to market dominance.

TechnoActivity is a Spanish technology firm that has developed a mobile payments platform. The company's key product, Mymoid, can be downloaded onto smartphones and provides users with an alternative to credit cards and cash. Users can pay for any invoice, including utilities, if it includes a QR or alphanumeric code. The firm has approval from the Bank of Spain to operate as a payment entity.
Founded in 2011 and based in Madrid, the firm employs fewer than 50 members of staff.
People
Manuel Gordillo, Francisco Marin and Iñigo González de Luna make up the management team at Ambar.
