Inveready leads round for Mobincube
Spanish VC Inveready has led a €700,000 seed funding round for Mobincube, a Valencia-based mobile software developer, alongside the Bankinter Innovation Foundation and The Crowd Angel.
The fresh capital will be used by Mobincube to accelerate its roll-out across the US, with the aim of becoming a global market competitor. The company plans on opening a US office in Silicon Valley at some point before the end of the year.
The Bankinter Innovation Foundation is an investment arm of Spanish bank Bankinter that aims to support Spanish entrepreneurs.
The Crowd Angel is a Spanish business angel crowd-funding platform. According to its website, The Crowd Angel contributed €201,000 to the round, which appears to be 10% more than the company aimed to raise through the site.
