Suma Capital invests in Cactus Soluciones Energéticas
Spanish GP Suma Capital has provided expansion capital to Seville-based energy efficiency consultant Cactus Soluciones Energéticas.
The capital injected will finance energy efficiency schemes and boost the company's expansion across Spain and Portugal.
The GP claims its SC Energy Efficiency Fund is the first Spanish fund in the energy efficiency sector. Among other investors, the vehicle counts capital committed from Instituto de Crédito Oficial, pension funds and family offices.
Company
Seville-based Cactus was founded in 2010. The company develops energy efficiency schemes for companies operating in the tertiary sector, including hotels, hospitals and shopping centres, as well as residential and public lighting.
According to press reports, the business generated a turnover of €3m in 2015.
