Sunstone sells Tyba to Graduateland
Danish venture firm Sunstone Capital has sold Tyba, a Spanish graduate recruitment startup, to Danish competitor Graduateland.
According to a statement, Tyba's management team will leave the business and start working at Source{d}, a spinout from Tyba, which enables companies to evaluate and connect with developers.
Previous funding
Sunstone led a $4m series-B round for Tyba in November 2014. Kuwaiti government-backed investor Impulse also participated in the round.
In 2013, Sunstone invested $1.2m in a series-A round for the business.
Company
Founded in 2011 and based in Madrid, Tyba has created an online recruitment marketplace that aims to allow companies to recruit university and college graduates more efficiently. The company is active in the Spanish and French markets.
The business employs 23 people across its office in Madrid, London and Berlin. In 2014, the company reportedly reached an EV of €13.5m.
