Private Equity Art Exhibition raises more than £20k

Following recent media scrutiny of private equity deal-doing, the industry looks once again in dire need of hiring a PR guru to protect its public image.
The fact is, though, that the industry is already engaged in numerous philanthropic activities, from the Private Equity Foundation that was set up in 2006 to such events as last night's Altius Associates Private Equity Art Exhibition.
Held for the third time, this charity fundraising event brings out the artist in private equity professionals, requiring them to donate up to three pieces they created to be displayed at the event. Admission tickets for the event come in the form of qualifying donations with all the money going towards the Altius Associates trust fund set up with the Charities Aid Foundation.
Donations can still be made online even after last night's event by clicking here. All funds raised are for the nominated charities: Children's Hospital Foundation , Multiple Sclerosis International Federation and Shelter.
