BGF opens Welsh office
BGF is to open a new office in Cardiff as it looks to scale up its investment activity in Wales.
The Welsh team is led by regional director Paul Oldham, with investors Edwin Davies and Ned Dorbin working across the south of the country, and Neil Inskip and Rhys Davenport working on investments in the north.
BGF's current investments in Wales include Brecon-based multichannel retailer BVG Group, as well as Cardiff-based waste management company Wales Environmental.
The development comes one week after the GP announced it is to open a Belfast office, which is to act as a base for investors Paddy Graham, Gemma Hamilton, Euan Baxter and Graham Clarke.
BGF typically invests £2-10m in exchange for minority stakes in companies with revenues of £5-100m.
