
Alvarez & Marsal hires two in private equity team

Transaction advisory services firm Alvarez & Marsal has hired Tania Howarth and Jason Spencer as managing directors.
Spencer and Howarth will report to Mike Trenouth, managing director and co-head of the European private equity performance improvement practice.
Howarth will focus on carve-outs in her role. She joins from Nomad Foods Europe, where she acted as chief operating officer and business transformation director. In her tenure at the company, she led carve-outs and post-acquisition integration projects, including the carve-out of the Unilever spreads business.
Prior to this role, Howarth served in executive positions at The Coco-Cola Company for Europe and Africa, and at PepsiCo UK. Howarth is currently a technology advisory board member at RBS and the non-executive chairman for Ozo Innovations.
Jason Spencer, Alvarez & Marsal
Spencer has joined the business technology service line of the private equity team and will support clients with technology in transformation. Prior to this role, Spencer was a partner at Deloitte in the transaction services team. Previously, he was a director in consulting at Gartner and assistant director in transaction advisory services at EY.
