
HIG appoints two to PE team

HIG Capital has appointed Stefano Giambelli and Tobias Borkowski to its European mid-market private equity team as principal and director respectively.
Giambelli joins from Amlon Capital, a firm that he co-founded to invest in the consumer goods, digital media and business services sectors. Prior to that he was a principal at London-based Apax Partners.
Borkowski joins from Bronfman Family Office (BFO) in London, and previously worked for global PE firm Rhône Group.

HIG is currently investing its $970m HIG Growth Buyout Equity Fund III, which closed in October 2018 and targets buyouts in Europe and North America.
