Agilitas registers Human Impact Fund

London-based Agilitas has made a legal filing for a Human Impact Fund, in what looks to be its first differentiated strategy outside of flagship funds.
The private equity firm registered 'Agilitas 2022 Human Impact GP' with the Luxembourg registry in late October.
The filing comes shortly after Agilitas bolstered its impact team, hiring Philip Krinks as an ESG transformation consultant. He previously spent 15 years at Boston Consulting Group, focused on healthcare and natural resources.
The GP closed its latest flagship fund, Agilitas 2020 Private Equity Fund, in March 2021 at its EUR 565m hard cap.
That vehicle will focus on mid-market companies across western Europe, within a range of sectors that includes, but is not limited to, high-acuity healthcare, environmental technologies and services, education and essential infrastructure.
Agilitas joins a host of European sponsors raising dedicated impact funds, including Argos Wityu's climate fund, and other debut impact funds from Golding Capital and Miura Partners.
Total capital committed to impact funds in 2021 surpassed any year prior with the trend set to continue through 2022, according to analysis from Unquote.
Agilitas did not respond to a request for comment.
