Electra acquires Daler-Rowney
Electra Partners has backed the buyout of fine art materials supplier Daler-Rowney with a £26m investment.
The company is based in Bracknell and supplies products such as artists' paints, brushes, canvases, papers and accessories. Manufacturing facilities for the products, which are exported to more than 90 countries, are located in the UK and the Dominican Republic.
Electra will be looking to support the company as it develops new products and expands its customer and market base. The management team of the company, led by Patrick Giraud, will continue to run the business and will reinvest a significant proportion of the proceeds from the deal.
