BVCA launches LP advisory unit
The British Private Equity & Venture Capital Association (BVCA) has launched a limited partner advisory unit to focus on enhancing GP-LP relationships.
The unit, called LP Advisory Board (LPAB), is made up of a team of nine senior industry figures, and chaired by Robert Coke - Wellcome Trust's head of absolute return and buyout.
The team will focus on identifying key areas of interest between GPs and LPs and develop tools to combine these for common goal achievement.
LPAB has also been charged with establishing an effective feedback loop between the GPs and LPs. Additionally, it will advise the BVCA on best practice strategies and approaches to engage with institutional investors.
