Scottish Equity Partners (SEP) has appointed Forward Internet Group’s Martin Brennan as principal.
Brennan has nine years of experience in high-growth technology. Prior to joining Forward Internet he worked for investment banks FirstCapital and Piper Jaffray.
The new principal will work from the firm's London office with partners Andrew Davison, Jan Rutherford and Stuart Paterson.
Brennan began his career as a strategy consultant at Accenture in 2003.
He studied international business and modern languages at the University of Strathclyde.
SEP was recently joined by Albion Ventures and Scottish Investment Bank in a £3m round for livestock-focused software company Silent Herdsman. Earlier this month, the VC exited Glasgow-based security software provider Metaforic in a $11.6m trade sale to VC-backed French fabless semiconductor company Inside Secure.
