Permira has hired Adinah Shackleton as the firm’s first head of environmental social and corporate governance (ESG).
She will be based in London, with responsibilities for running and developing Permira's ESG activities. The dedicated ESG team was established in 2010.
Shackleton was a principal consultant for Environmental Resources Management (ERM) before joining Permira, a role where she specialised in ESG for private equity clients.
Prior to her eight-year stint at ERM, she was employed as an environment coordinator at Multiplex Constructions between April 2005 and November 2006.
