
Octopus injects £2m in UltraSoC
Octopus Investments has provided £2m for UK technology developer UltraSoC Technologies Ltd.
Capital comes from the Octopus Titan VCT, Eureka EIS Portfolio Service and Octopus Venture Partners funds. This transaction represents Octopus' 22nd deal in 2010.
UltraSoC is developing an advanced debugging technology for embedded systems used in a whole range of electronic applications. The investment will support the development of the technology platform to a licensable product through an expansion of the technical and marketing capability of the company.
The company was founded in 2006 and was spun out from the Universities of Kent and Essex in 2008.
