
Octopus invests in Curlet
Venture capital company Octopus investments has backed commerce content management platform Curlet Ltd with £1.6m.
The investment was made from the Octopus Titan VCT funds, Eureka EIS Portfolio Service and Octopus Venture Partners and will be used to expand the company in the UK and internationally.
The investor was attracted to the high growth potential of the company, the strong management team and the "industry changing" nature of the firm.
The company has developed the "10CMS" platform, which enables retailers to create and deploy content into web sites by using provided content management tools. It also connect with eCommerce websites and social media. The firm says that by using the technology companies can reduce costs and increase conversion rates and average order values.
