
HIG Europe acquires Fibercore
HIG Europe has acquired Fibercore together with the management from communication system provider Cisco.
The capital will be used to implement the company's growth strategy and to expand into related and developing markets. The investor is also looking to improve the firm's market position through product innovation and high quality service delivery.
Fibercore was founded in 1982 and is based in Southampton. The company is a provider of specialty optical fiber products which are used by customers globally within the aerospace, defence and telecommunications industries.
