
Maven backs £5.5m take private of LitComp
Maven Capital Partners has backed the public-to-private acquisition of AIM-listed LitComp Plc, the insurance business, in a £5.48m deal.
In exchange for this, Maven will hold a 40% stake in the newly de-listed business.
LitComp is a national supplier of financial and legal insurance products and litigation services. LitComp's trading subsidiaries provide After the Event (ATE) and other specialist insurances, medico legal reports and psychological reports to its client base, which comprises mainly U.K. based solicitors. The company was founded in 2001 and floated on OFEX in 2002, moving to AIM in March 2006.
