NorthEdge promotes two

North of England-focused mid-market investor NorthEdge Capital has promoted two members of its team to investment director and investment manager.
Tom Rowley (pictured), who joined NorthEdge as an investment manager in 2013, has been promoted to investment director. Rowley currently has a seat on the board at Jigsaw24, the business-to-business supplier of Apple and Adobe products that recently acquired Square Group.
Prior to joining NorthEdge, Rowley spent five years as a director at Zeus Capital and three years as a director at Deloitte. He studied history at the University of Leeds.
Meanwhile, Phil Frame has been promoted from senior investment executive to investment manager, having joined NorthEdge in 2012. Frame was part of the team that completed the firm’s maiden deal when it took a majority stake in UK-based engineering company FPE Global in February 2013. He also has a seat on the FPE board.
Prior to joining NorthEdge, Frame spent three years as an assistant director at Altium, where he worked on transactions within e-commerce, retail, capital goods and renewable energy. He studied at Manchester Business School.
